Five Money Saving Travel Tips

SAVE MONEY WHILE TRAVELING
Anyone Can Save!
When I started traveling, I really had to figure out how to spread every dollar to get the most bang for my buck, and years later I am still doing the same thing!

If you are just starting out, I urge you to think about your true travel priorities. This could be: good restaurants, unique souvenirs, comfortable hotels, the location you stay in, sporting events while traveling, shopping, etc. You want to be able to put your travel dollars to where your priorities lie, and then trim down in the other areas that don't matter to you as much.
The biggest expenses most people incur are food and accommodations. If you are able to trim down one of those expenses, your money will go much further, which means more trips in the future. Whether I am staying in an 18 bed mixed dorm hostel, or a nice/comfortable hotel room, I find accommodations with free breakfast (that I am always sure to fill up on!) to cut out 1/3 of my daily eating expenses right away.
